The discomfort and risk women face in public restrooms inspired shrijana to embark on a journey of research and development. With her husband, Vikas Bagaria, she was determined to find a solution to the persistent threat of UTIs and other infections.
The result was the Toilet Seat Sanitizer Spray, a product that has protected millions since its introduction in 2013, reducing infection risks by 99.9%.
As PeeSafe grew, so did its mission. Recognizing the need for a broader range of hygiene essentials, Srijana and her team began addressing issues often hushed in society.
PeeSafe became synonymous with being outspoken, bold, and courageous, providing expertise in personal, sexual, and menstrual hygiene.
This commitment earned the brand accolades such as Amazon's SMB Brand of the Year 2020 and a spot among LinkedIn's Top 10 Startups in 2020.
Under Srijana's leadership, PeeSafe expanded to over 5,000 retail touchpoints across 90 cities and began exporting to nearly 10 countries.
The brand's portfolio now includes over 50 products, with sub-brands like FURR and DOMINA. Despite managing multiple ventures, including logistics and transit risk management services, Srijana's passion for women's hygiene remains at the core of her work.
Srijana believes that women's empowerment starts with hygiene and sanitation. By openly discussing these issues, she aims to create awareness and drive a global transformation.
Her efforts are not confined to PeeSafe; she is also an angel investor in companies like Wittyfeed, Dibz, Triplived, and Shaadi Saga, supporting innovation and empowerment.
Srijana's journey with PeeSafe began with a personal challenge, but it flourished through collaboration with her husband, Vikas Bagaria.
A seasoned entrepreneur with over 27 years of experience, Vikas co-founded PeeSafe in 2013. Together, they launched PeeSafe 2.0 in 2017 under Redcliffe Hygiene Pvt. Ltd., aiming to innovate in toilet hygiene, menstrual care, and sexual wellness.
PeeSafe's impact was recognized in January 2020 when it was awarded Best SMB Brand of the Year by Amazon India in the presence of Jeff Bezos. Today, PeeSafe is available in 110 cities across India, 18 countries, and over 15,000 stores, embodying a vision of hygiene and wellness education.
Vikas Bagaria's contributions extend beyond PeeSafe. He founded SRV Damage Prevention in 2002, supporting Indian defense, aerospace, and energy sectors.
In response to the 2012 Nirbhaya rape case, he launched SafetyKart.com, India's first online portal for safety products.
Srijana Bagaria's journey from a personal health crisis to leading a multi-crore business is a testament to the power of resilience and innovation.
Through PeeSafe, she has not only improved hygiene standards but also empowered countless women to take control of their health. Her story inspires us to turn challenges into opportunities and drive meaningful change.Madhuri Awande
